Restorative Procedures
Fixed Implant Prosthesis
Dental implants can be utilized to replace anywhere from a single tooth to the entire dentition. A fixed implant prosthesis is one that cannot be removed from the mouth by the patient. Once the tooth is attached to the implant, i t will look and feel like natural teeth.
The initial step is to surgically place the titanium post (implant or implants) in the bone. Usually 3 to 5 months after the placement, once the implant is fused to the bone, the permanent restoration is attached to it. I n some cases we can replace 12 teeth on 4 to 6 implants. This restoration will look, feel and function like natural teeth.
